Job summary

Mennel Milling Company is seeking a dedicated operator to run the grain elevator, receive and load grain, and uphold food safety standards at our NC facility. The role emphasizes safe handling of grain, routine inspections, and adherence to GMP and sanitation guidelines.

The position supports the company’s Mission and Quality statements and requires readiness to work 2nd shift with potential rail/load adjustments. Full-time, on-site in Newton, NC.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to pass a Qualitative Respirator Fit Test.
• Ability to work at heights more than 180 ft.
• Ability to perform work in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate grain handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Grade and inspect grain, corn, wheat and soybeans.
• Follow GMPs/OSHA/HACCP/sanitation guidelines and keep audit ready.
• Perform routine and emergency maintenance to equipment.
