Job description

RahrBSG is seeking a Grain Elevator Operator at our Amenia, North Dakota location. The operator's responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks with grain, proper storage and movement of grain at the elevator, grain sweeping, maintaining accurate inventory records, grounds maintenance, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. The role supports the company's initiatives by completing operational responsibilities with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, safety, and cost control.

What you will do:

• Clean elevators, rooftops, main work floors, and grounds of the Taft and Amenia elevators
• Clean railcars
• Load and unload trucks and railcars
• Operate conveyors, select flow pipes, and manage storage tanks for grain transfer
• Occasionally examine and extract samples for analysis
• Grade, weigh, and record grain sample results
• Perform light maintenance and repairs
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 months of related experience or training
• Ability to lift 55 lbs regularly
• Basic math skills
• General computer knowledge

Salary Range: $23.00 per hour
