Job description

RahrBSG is looking for a Grain Elevator Operator at our Amenia North Dakota location. The Grain Elevator Operator is responsible for loading and unloading trucks with grain as well as the proper storage and movement of grain at an elevator. This role also involves grain sweeping, maintaining accurate inventory records, performing grounds maintenance, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. The Grain Elevator Operator supports key initiatives of the company by successfully completing operational responsibilities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, safety, and cost control are prioritized.

What you will do:
  • General cleaning of elevators, rooftops, main work floors, and the grounds of the Taft and Amenia Elevator
  • Cleaning out railcars
  • Loading and unloading trucks and railcars
  • Starting conveyors, selecting flow pipes and storage tanks to send grain to storage or loading department
  • Occasionally examine and extract samples for analysis
  • Grade and weigh grain samples and record results
  • Light maintenance and repair work
  • Other duties as assigned
Things you will need:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One to three months related experience and/or training
  • Ability to lift 55lbs regularly
  • Ability to use basic math skills
  • General computer knowledge
  • Attention to detail

$23 - $23 an hour
