Job summary

Life Alive is seeking a Grain Bowl Production Cook for the Washington, DC area. This role covers morning/afternoon shifts in a fast-paced retail cafe environment, with a 18.40 USD hourly rate and part-time status.

The position focuses on preparing recipes, stocking stations, communicating needs to BOH/MODs, and maintaining clean, organized work areas while serving guests with a friendly, energy-rich hospitality.

Qualifications

• Front-line food service experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to cleanliness and food safety.
• Team oriented with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepares recipes according to standard procedures.
• Stocks and prepares stations for service.
• Communicates product needs to back-of-house and managers-on-duty.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the station.
• Accommodates guest-specific requests and modifications.
• Ensures high-quality ingredients and standard food preparation.
