Job summary

CPI is seeking a dedicated Grain and Agronomy Operator Lead to join our expanding team in Hastings, NE. This role involves outdoor work, independence or teamwork to handle day-to-day grain and agronomy operations, with a strong emphasis on safety policies to protect personnel and equipment.

The Lead will guide others in loading, blending, and loading fertilizers and chemicals, and may operate heavy equipment if certified.

Qualifications

  • No experience necessary, training provided.

Responsibilities

  • Guide and assist others with loading and unloading grain commodities.
  • Blend and load dry or liquid fertilizer and chemicals.
  • Load railcars at certain facilities.
  • Analyze and resolve work problems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and maintain records.
  • Operate heavy equipment if certified.

What the job is:

CPI is looking for someone who likes to work outside and enjoys working independently or on a team to accomplish day-to-day grain and agronomy operations. CPI is a safety minded company thus such policies must be followed. Grain and Agronomy Operator Leads will guide and assist others with loading and unloading grain commodities, blend and load dry or liquid fertilizer and chemicals, and at times load railcars at certain facilities. The Lead will be responsible for analyzing and resolving work problems, performing preventative maintenance on equipment and maintaining records. As needed the candidate could operate heavy equipment if certified.
