Troy University in Troy, MI, is looking for a graduate teaching assistant to lead labs in Physics, Physical Science, and Astronomy. This role involves delivering course materials effectively and creating a positive learning environment for students.
The ideal candidate must be a Troy University student enrolled in at least six credit hours in the Master of Science in Applied Mathematical Sciences in Mathematical Physics program. Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check.
The graduate teaching assistant will teach Physics, Physical Science, and Astronomy labs by effective delivery of the required course materials and fostering a positive learning environment for students.
Please note: Student positions are FICA /Medicare exempt only if students are enrolled in classes in the semester that work is performed. To qualify for the FICA /Medicare exemption, you must be enrolled on a half‑time basis for the Fall, Spring, or Summer.
