Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer with 2+ years' experience to support a UK-wide multi-disciplinary consultancy from their Rutland office, with hybrid working options. You will assist with structural surveys, calculations, reports and CAD drawings across residential, commercial and industrial projects.

The ideal candidate has a degree in structural/civil engineering and a drive to pursue chartership with IStructE or ICE, plus a willingness to travel to client sites and

Qualifications

• Degree in Structural / Civil Engineering (IStructE/ICE accreditation preferred).
• 2+ years' experience as a Graduate Engineer or similar role.
• Experience in consulting engineering, surveying, architecture & planning.
• Able to work to deadlines and within budgets.
• Keen to progress quickly and gain chartership with IStructE or ICE.

Responsibilities

• Prepare structural reports and drawings for various projects.
• Perform design calculations and CAD drawing production.
• Conduct flood damage surveys and site visits.
• Provide technical advice to clients and stakeholders.
• Assist with planning/building regulation approvals.
• Monitor contracts, manage projects, and coordinate with teams.

Graduate Structural Engineer - 2+ Years' Experience

Location: Rutland

Salary up to £35,000, benefits, pay reviews, bonuses, and chartership support

Our client, a multi-disciplinary UK wide Consultancy with 350 staff and a £30million turnover, who are in a growth period are looking for a Structural Engineer to be based from their office in Rutland with Hybrid working options. The Structural Engineer will be providing support to the local and Engineering teams on a wide range of projects, including structural surveys and preparation of reports, calculations, design and preparation of drawings designs for residential, commercial and industrial properties as well as providing advice to the insurance sector and assisting with regional frameworks.

The Ideal Structural Engineer will preferably have 2+ years post graduate experience within a Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy Environment. The Structural Engineer will have a good working knowledge of construction methods, materials and building regulations with ambition, drive and passion for the sector.

• Salary: up to £35,000 DOE
