Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions invites new graduates to join its Technology Graduate Program as an Entry Level Software Engineer. The 12‑month program features two six‑month rotations, hands‑on work with big data, AI, SRE, DevOps, and security engineering, plus exposure to AWS and Azure.

You will gain mentorship, performance feedback, and extensive training while contributing to products that enhance insurance, healthcare, and government operations.

Qualifications

• Graduation date between December 2026 and May 2027
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Proficient in Java/J2EE, Python, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, Linux, and .Net
• Familiar with Agile or Waterfall methodologies
• Knowledge of data manipulation languages and data modeling principles
• Willingness to learn new processes and technologies
• Knowledge of test‑driven development

Responsibilities

• Write and review specifications for developing system components of simple complexity
• Implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews with guidance from senior engineers
• Collaborate with stakeholders across development environments
• Complete simple bug fixes and apply test‑driven development knowledge
• Gather and analyze requirements for software projects with stakeholders
• Resolve basic technical issues and stay updated on new tech
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of software development methodologies and data manipulation languages
• Understand data modeling principles and applicable development languages
