Job summary

Merit Health River Region invites applications for a Graduate Registered Nurse (RN) in an acute care setting. You will deliver basic nursing care under supervision, support treatment administration, and participate in patient education to promote recovery and safety.

Qualified candidates are recent nursing graduates or students transitioning to professional practice, with RN licensure required and BLS preferred. Sign-on up to $20,000 for eligible full-time RNs is offered.

Qualifications

• Proficient in nursing assessment and documentation
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Ability to administer medications accurately
• Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
• Excellent teamwork and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care under RN supervision in acute care
• Deliver treatments and support patient education
• Document vital signs and patient responses in EMR
• Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on care procedures and safety
