Merit Health in Mississippi seeks a Graduate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide basic nursing care under supervision in an acute care setting. This role targets newly graduated nurses transitioning to professional practice and includes patient education and care support to promote recovery and safety.

The Graduate RN will assist with care planning, administer medications, document in the EMR, and contribute to a safe care environment while collaborating with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care required.
• RN licensure in state or compact state required.
• BCLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist in development and implementation of individualized patient care plans with experienced RNs.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Perform patient assessments and document vital signs promptly in EMR.
• Provide patient and family education to promote understanding and adherence.
• Support mobility and daily living activities while maintaining safety.
