We Are Hiring
  • Department: Med Surg Oncology
  • Schedule: Full-time, Day Shift, 7a-7p, with rotating weekends and holidays.
  • Facility: Ascension St. Agnes Hospital
  • Location: Baltimore, MD
  • Sign-On Bonus: Up to $15,000
  • Salary: $37.00 per hour
What You Will Do

Provide direct nursing care according to established policies, procedures, and protocols, in collaboration with a registered nurse.

  • Assist with patient care, including observation, documentation of healthcare needs, and communication of pertinent information to the registered nurse and healthcare team.
  • Assist with documentation and implementation of physician and nursing orders under the supervision of the registered nurse preceptor.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans; communicate, monitor, and record changes in patient condition as appropriate.
  • Participate actively in transition to practice programs to develop clinical thinking and judgment, ensuring safe, person-centered care.
What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider: Must be obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire or transfer, accepted from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Registered Nurse: Must be obtained prior to hire or transfer.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited nursing school/college OR required professional licensure at the time of hire.
