Job Title: Graduate Research Associate - OSUWMC
Department: Health System Shared Services | HS Nursing Enterprise Leadership - JM
The Graduate Research Associate (GRA) is part of the Nursing Research Team led by the Nurse Scientist. Responsibilities include applying and mastering research concepts, organizing or analyzing data, writing reports, presenting findings, collaborating on publications, and conducting research under supervision. As Key Personnel on a research proposal, the GRA identifies and assesses eligible persons for protocol participation, discusses potential subject enrollment, gathers clinical data, and enters data into the database, ensuring all activities follow protocol and federal regulations. Services are provided in collaboration with other research and nursing care team members.
Minimum Qualifications for Hire: OSU student enrolled in a graduate program. Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills.
Additional Information: Provides apprenticeship experience along with financial support, complementing formal graduate instruction and offering practical research experience. Responsibilities may include applying research concepts, conducting experiments, analyzing data, writing reports, presenting findings, collaborating on publications, and conducting institutional research.
