Job Summary

The duties for this job are as follows:

  • National Science Foundation (NSF)-funded research project in Trustworthy AI Research and Development (30%).
  • Duties will focus on research and development in machine learning, artificial intelligence, trustworthy multi-modal and multi-agent AI system design, AI security and risk, intelligent cyber-physical systems, and data science (20%).
  • Students will work on Raspberry PI, Sensors, Robots, Server Computers, Edge Devices, and others (20%).
  • The tasks involved reading scientific peer-reviewed research articles, conducting seminars for knowledge sharing, coding and implementation, testbed development, testing, and result generation, scientific writing for peer-reviewed publications, and other scientific works as needed (30%).
Required Qualifications

To be eligible for an assistantship, students must meet the following criteria:

  • Students admitted provisionally to a program are not eligible for an assistantship.
  • Earned a Bachelor¿s degree.
  • Have applied for and been accepted to a graduate degree program of study at UWG.
  • Be enrolled as a full-time student in a graduate program of study.
  • Have maintained a 3.0 GPA in previous and current graduate course work.
  • Meet the requirements to be eligible for employment in the US.
Preferred Qualifications
  • The candidate must have earned bachelors degree in computer science or an equivalent area.
  • Have applied for and been accepted to a graduate degree program of the School of Computing, Analytics, and Modeling graduate program at UWG.
