Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC invites upcoming graduates to join our team as an Assistant Project Manager in a full-time role. Positions are available in Nashville, TN, Cartersville, GA, Monteagle, TN, and Shelby, NC, offering exposure to diverse projects in the construction industry.

Responsibilities include developing project plans, coordinating with field teams, and managing subcontractors, permits, and mobilization.

Qualifications

Must be an upcoming graduate pursuing a degree in construction, engineering, or related field.
Construction internship/work experience strongly preferred.
Must graduate with a 3.0+ cumulative GPA.
Experience managing aspects of construction projects (architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical).
Working knowledge of Prolog and other construction software.
Basic understanding of financial accounting systems.
Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills.
Technical writing skills.
Conflict resolution skills.
Superior organizational skills.
Ability to multitask.
Willingness to travel and/or relocate, as required.

Responsibilities

Develop project business plan and coordinate with field management on safety plans.
Serve as main point of contact for engineers and architects on projects.
Identify and implement contract deliverables, quality testing, and reporting requirements.
Create staging, logistics, and phasing plans for projects.
Lead coordination of subcontractors and manage subcontractor/PO changes.
Set up and manage project in E1 and Prolog; obtain permits and mobilize jobsite.
Facilitate subcontractor pre-mobilization/startup meetings and issue subcontracts.
