Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC in North Carolina invites recent graduates to join our team as an Assistant Field Manager in full-time construction roles across multiple sites. You will support the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent, review shop drawings and submittals, monitor production rates and schedules, supervise subs, and help enforce on-site safety and reporting obligations.

This role requires a degree in construction or a related field, strong communication and organizational skills,

Qualifications

• Must be an upcoming or recent graduate of an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in construction, engineering, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Building Science, Construction Management, or a related field preferred. Alternatively, a satisfactory combination of relevant military training and/or experience in construction-related fields will be considered.
• Ability to multitask
• Must be able to work in either Charlotte, NC or Winston- Salem, NC
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Superior organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Assists Superintendent and/or Assistant Superintendent in administrative, compliance, procurement, building, and reporting responsibilities, as assigned
• Reviews and interprets shop drawings
• Reviews submittals and expedites materials
• Monitors production rates and schedules
• Supervises subcontractors and monitors work performance, progress, and productivity
• Supports and/or supervises work crews from excavation through punch list
• Follows company policies and procedures and assists with OSHA compliance and on-site safety enforcement
• Assists with reporting obligations
