JOB SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Clinical Nurse I - V, Department Director, Patient Care Manager, Shift Administrator, and Vice President of Patient Care, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing quality care to assigned patients by utilizing the nursing process as defined in the Missouri Nurse Practice Act. The LPN will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care, understanding the physical and psychological needs of pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. They must be able to assess patient data and interpret information to ensure quality care.

JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS

Job Description

• Education: Graduate of an approved practical or vocational nursing program - required
• Certification & Licensures: Licensed to practice in Missouri or eligible for licensure with a Missouri work permit - required
• BLS Certification - required
• IV Certified - required
• Experience: Previous hospital or nursing home experience preferred but not required.
