Genesis Healthcare invites Licensed Practical Nurse graduates to begin their nursing careers while preparing for the NCLEX. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will deliver efficient and compassionate care to residents and support positive outcomes.

During orientation, you’ll evaluate needs, participate in care planning, administer medications, and collaborate with the team to ensure safety and quality in a restorative, geriatric setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school for vocational nursing.
• Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensure.
• Experience is preferred in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe condition and report changes in condition.
• Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
• Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
