Job summary

Genesis HealthCare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. After an orientation period and under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you will deliver efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient, resident and family satisfaction.

As a member of our care team, you will evaluate residents, contribute to assessments and care plans, administer medications, and supervise unlicensed staff to ensure quality care in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school for vocational nursing.
• Licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensure.
• Experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe condition and report changes.
• Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
