Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning in real-world practice under the guidance of a preceptor. You will complete a 120‑day training roadmap to deepen your understanding of store operations, patient safety, and drug utilization practices in a retail setting.

As you progress, you will assist the pharmacy team, ensure timely and accurate prescription fulfillment, and support immunizations and other patient services within allowed state regulations, while

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required Pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure operations run smoothly, prescriptions filled promptly, safely and accurately.
• Provide patient counseling and immunization support where allowable by law and certification.
• Adhere to SOPs and professional standards to ensure patient safety and service quality.
• Travel to stores in the market to support business needs when required
