Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to train under licensed pharmacists in a retail setting. You will complete a 120-day training roadmap, learn SOPs, patient counseling, and immunization support, while ensuring safe, accurate prescriptions.

You will support store operations, contribute to a high-quality patient experience, and prepare for increasing responsibilities as readiness grows.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program before starting the program.
• Must obtain pharmacist licensure within state guidelines.
• Failure to obtain licensure within 120 days leads to separation.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure.

Responsibilities

• Regular attendance including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within the designated timeframe.
• Ensure prescription information and labeling accuracy for patient safety.
• Provide customer service with a friendly, team-oriented approach.
• Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues; active listening.
• Assist with inventory and pharmacy workflow while following SOPs.
