Job summary

CVS Health in Salisbury, NC invites applications for the Graduate Pharmacy Intern position. You will apply didactic knowledge from pharmacy school to real-world practice under a pharmacist preceptor, completing a 120-day training roadmap to deepen understanding of store, district, and regional operations.

You will assist the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription processing, contribute to patient safety, and learn to counsel patients while expanding clinical and technical knowledge.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure that prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
• Learn to operate under SOPs and demonstrate empathy in patient interactions.
• Support immunizations and other services when allowed by state regulations.
