Job summary

CVS Health Corporation offers a Graduate Pharmacy Intern program designed to translate didactic learning into real-world practice within CVS pharmacy teams. You will work under a preceptor, completing a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation to build store, district, and regional operating knowledge.

You will support patient safety, DUR activities, and SOP adherence while delivering caring service that meets patient needs in a dynamic retail pharmacy setting.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Follow SOPs and demonstrate empathy and genuine care toward patients.
• Support immunizations and other pharmacy services as allowed by state law and training.
• Engage in learning through a defined 120-day training roadmap with preceptor guidance.
• Travel to stores in the market as needed to support business needs when required.
