Job summary

CVS Health Corporation offers a Graduate Pharmacy Intern program across our stores, enabling you to support pharmacy teams while developing your skills and preparing for increased responsibilities.

You will apply didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice under a preceptor and District Leader, completing a 120‑day training roadmap designed to broaden knowledge of store, district, and regional operations.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program.
• Must obtain pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus in performing tasks accurately.
• Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time
• Ability to pivot quickly from one task to another to meet patient and business needs
• Ability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy, ensuring patient safety
• Customer Service and Team Orientation in interactions with patients and colleagues
• Notice and understand patients’ reactions, and respond appropriately
• Communication Skills in verbal and written interactions
• Mathematical Reasoning for dispensing calculations
• Problem Resolution when faced with multiple options
• Physical Demands including lifting and standing
• Express or exchange ideas clearly
• Receive detailed information through oral communication
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager
