Job summary

CVS Health welcomes a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to join our pharmacy team. You will apply didactic learning in real-world practice under a pharmacist preceptor, completing a 120‑day training roadmap designed to expand knowledge of store, district, and regional operations.

You will support prescription fulfillment, immunizations where allowed, and patient counseling while upholding patient safety and SOPs. This role prepares you for a Pharmacist position as readiness increases.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program.
• Must be able to obtain pharmacist licensure per state requirements.
• Intern and/or technician licensure in process or possession as required by state laws.

Responsibilities

• Attend to patient needs with empathy and care following SOPs.
• Assist with prescription fulfillment to ensure accuracy and safety.
• Support immunization services and point‑of‑care activities as trained.
• Provide counseling and answer questions under pharmacist supervision.
• Maintain patient privacy and comply with federal and state regulations.
