Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic knowledge in real-world practice, under a preceptor and district leader. You will complete a structured roadmap within 120 days, learning store, district, and regional operations while delivering safe, compassionate patient care.

You will assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled accurately, while expanding your clinical and technical knowledge and preparing for greater responsibility.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a US accredited program before starting the Post-Graduate Training Program.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within state guidelines; 120 days to obtain licensure.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Attend the comprehensive 120‑day training roadmap and coursework under supervision.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, promptly and accurately.
• Support immunizations and patient care activities in accordance with training and state rules.
• Follow SOPs, maintain patient privacy and safety, and participate in a collaborative team.
• Learn to counsel patients, handle telecommunication with prescribers when needed.
