Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to join our store teams. You will apply your pharmacy education in real-world practice under a licensed pharmacist, following a 120‑day training roadmap to prepare for a Pharmacist role.

You’ll learn patient safety, DUR, SOPs, and how to deliver caring service that meets patient expectations. As you gain tenure, you will support management and pharmacy operations, assist with immunizations, inventory, and counseling.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Complete required training within designated timeframe
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure accurate prescriptions and patient safety
• Counsel patients and answer questions about medications
• Assist with immunizations and point‑of‑care testing where allowed
• Maintain inventory and assist leadership with daily operations
• Demonstrate empathy and provide compassionate patient care
• Follow SOPs and regulatory requirements at all times
