Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to join our pharmacy team. You will apply didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice under supervision, completing a 120-day training roadmap and supporting pharmacy operations to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate patient service.

As you progress, you will take on greater responsibilities in management, oversight, and patient care activities, including immunizations and other services

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe per state guidelines
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Complete training roadmap within 120 days of graduation
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately
• Adhere to SOPs and maintain patient safety and privacy
• Provide counseling and educational support to patients when appropriate under supervision
• Travel to stores in the market to support business needs as required
