Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world practice and prepare for a Pharmacist role within our retail pharmacy teams. Under supervision, you will complete a comprehensive 120‑day training roadmap covering store, district, and regional operations, while delivering safe, timely, and compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines. Failure to obtain required Pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation will result in separation of employment.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentration on tasks, pivot between tasks, ensure prescription labeling accuracy.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people, respond to patients effectively.
• Communication Skills: clear verbal and written interactions with patients and colleagues.
• Mathematical Reasoning: compute supplies and dispensed medications.
• Problem Resolution: handle challenging patient or colleague interactions.
• Physical Demands: ability to lift and move items as needed.
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager.

Education

PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program
