Job summary

CVS Health Graduate Pharmacy Intern program offers hands-on training under a licensed preceptor, applying didactic knowledge to real-world pharmacy operations. You will participate in a 120‑day training roadmap to deepen patient safety practices, DUR, and SOP compliance while supporting the pharmacy team.

As your readiness grows, you’ll take on greater responsibility, learn immunizations and other services, and coordinate with store leadership to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment

Qualifications

PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines
Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
Attention and Focus: ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time
Customer Service and Team Orientation: assist pharmacy team and provide caring service
Communication Skills: verbal and written communication with patients and colleagues
Other tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager
