Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply your didactic learning and real-world practice to support our pharmacy teams. You will help ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately while delivering compassionate service.

Under your preceptor and district leadership, you will complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation, focusing on SOPs, patient safety, DUR, and professional standards as you prepare for licensure and greater responsibility.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program before starting the Post-Graduate Training.
• Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure within state requirements within the required timeframe.
• Must hold, or be pursuing, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy operations to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Learn SOPs, patient safety practices, and DUR under supervision of licensed pharmacists.
• Demonstrate empathy and provide caring service while adhering to professional standards.
