Job summary

CVS Health Graduate Pharmacy Intern program offers hands-on experience in a high-volume pharmacy environment. You will apply didactic knowledge from your PharmD into real-world practice under a preceptor, completing a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation.

As you gain tenure, you will support pharmacists and technicians, help ensure safe dispensing, and participate in immunization services and other patient-centered care on a store level.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program.
• Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure within state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Learn SOPs, patient safety principles, and compassionate care for patients.
• Assist with immunizations and other patient services where allowed by law.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts and dispensing tasks.
