Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice under a licensed pharmacist. You will contribute to patient safety and quality assurance while completing a 120‑day training roadmap designed to deepen your knowledge of store operations and pharmacy workflow.

As you progress, you will support immunizations, drug utilization review, counseling, prescription intake, and safe medication dispensing, while learning SOPs, teamwork, and compassionate

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required Pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Actively support pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
• Counsel patients and assist with immunizations and other clinical services as allowed by state law.
• Maintain patient safety and privacy, adhering to SOPs and regulatory requirements.
