Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply your didactic learning in real-world practice. You will train under a pharmacist preceptor, complete a 120-day roadmap, and deepen your understanding of patient safety and SOPs, while contributing to safe, caring service in our pharmacy teams.

As you progress, you may take on greater responsibility in operations, inventory, and clinical support, including immunizations where allowed by law, with a focus on teamwork and patient-centered

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines. 120 days deadline.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Demonstrate empathy and genuine care in patient interactions.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, accurately and promptly.
• Follow SOPs and maintain patient privacy and security.
• Support immunizations and other pharmacy services where allowed by law.
