Job summary

CVS Health Corporation in Canton, OH is seeking a part-time Graduate Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy operations under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. The role focuses on patient safety, accurate prescription fulfillment, and compassionate customer service while you complete your 120-day training roadmap.

You will learn SOPs, participate in DUR reviews, and expand clinical and technical knowledge through hands-on practice and coaching from district leaders.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately
• Counsel patients and provide empathetic service at pickup and drive-thru
• Support immunization services and point-of-care testing where allowed
• Take telephonic prescriptions from prescribers and clarify as needed
• Assist with inventory and cycle counts per SOPs
• Travel to stores in the market to support business needs
