Job summary

Concordia Visiting Nurses in Pennsylvania seeks full-time Graduate Nurses to cover Butler, Clarion and Armstrong Counties, enabling you to work close to home. The graduate nurse must have completed an approved nursing education program in PA or another state and hold a Temporary Practice Permit (TPP) for PA; supervision is provided by an experienced PA RN in the area.

Typical hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with flexibility for other schedules.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved nursing education program in Pennsylvania or any other state of the United States, having not taken the NCLEX licensing examination.
• Employment may begin after a Temporary Practice Permit is issued by the Board of Nursing.
• Reliable, independent means of transportation to make home visits.

Responsibilities

• Graduate nurse will work under the supervision of an experienced PA registered nurse who is physically present in the area where the graduate nurse is practicing.
• Provide patient care and perform home visits within Butler, Clarion and Armstrong Counties as assigned.

Concordia Visiting Nurses is seeking Graduate Nursesfor full-time positions to cover territories in Butler, Clarion and Armstrong Counties, allowing you to work close to your home.

The graduate nurse is a person who has completed an approved nursing education program in Pennsylvania or any other state of the United States who has not taken the NCLEX licensing examination. The graduate nurse holds a “Temporary Practice Permit [TPP]” for the state of Pennsylvania and practices under the supervision of an experienced Pennsylvania registered nurse who is physically present in the area where the graduate nurse is practicing.

Your patients, your schedule. Typical hours are Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm but we are open to other possibilities. Let us know what type of schedule you are seeking. Some weekends, evenings and holidays are required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Completion of an approved nursing education program in Pennsylvania or any other state of the United States, having not taken the NCLEX licensing examination.
• Employment may begin after a Temporary Practice Permit is issued by the Board of Nursing.
• The Pennsylvania Temporary Practice Permit expires immediately when the results of the first licensing examination are received. If the graduate nurse fails the first licensing examination, employment as a graduate nurse will cease and the Temporary Practice Permit is rescinded.
• Reliable, independent means of transportation to make home visits. Drivers must have a valid driver’s license and drive a vehicle with insurance limits as established by the state
