What is the Graduate Nurse Rotational Program (GNRP)?
UPMC Jameson is pleased to announce we are now hiring Graduate Nurses as full-time Staff Nurses to support various hospital units as part of a special Rotational Program starting Summer 2026. Previous participants have had the opportunity to rotate through various Medical Surgical Units at UPMC Jameson for 9 months.

The Professional Staff Nurse provides highly competent patient care and treatment while demonstrating empathy and a passion for learning. This role requires independent judgment, fluent communication, and partnership with physicians, care providers, patients, and families to achieve desired outcomes throughout the continuum of care.
As a member of the care delivery team, you will set standards for nursing care and be responsible for its provision, exemplifying a commitment to the community and the nursing profession.

What does placement look like post-GNRP?
Upon completing the program, placements are determined by participant preference, manager input, and business needs through a collaborative process. Applicants will be placed in appropriate roles and salaries based on experience and education.
Shift/Hours: Our RNs work rotating 12-hour shifts to ensure 24/7 coverage.
GNs must be eligible for State Board Licensure and pass the exam before starting or have a Temporary Practice Permit with a commitment to take the NCLEX within 6 months of hire.
