Job summary

UT Health East Texas in Tyler, TX is seeking a full-time Graduate Nurse (RN) to provide and direct patient care across units including Women and Children’s, Intensive Care, Emergency, Intermediate Care, Post Surgical Med/Surg, Neuro Tele, Inpatient Med/Surg, Telemetry Med/Surg, and Med/Surg Ortho & Bariatrics. Shifts available days and nights depending on unit.

The RN will use the nursing process to care for a group of patients for a designated time frame.

Qualifications

• Must have GN permit at start.
• Must maintain current Texas RN License.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
