Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Must have temporary authorization to practice as a graduate nurse under supervision.
• Must be licensed to practice as an RN by Michigan within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with care team to ensure quality of care and teamwork.
• Coordinates patient care activities and provides patient/family education.
• Incorporates discharge planning into the care plan at admission and evaluates progress.
• Facilitates care coordination with other departments to optimize outcomes.
• Under supervision, provides direct patient care, executes physician orders, and monitors medications and labs.
