Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire. Additional Preferences #SponsoredJobWI 7 East is a 32-bed Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit which specializes in Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Orthopedics. Diagnoses for the specialty service lines include: Stroke, Brain Bleeds, Brain Masses, Encephalopathy, Epilepsy, Craniotomies, Laminectomy, Spinal Fusions, and various fractures. In addition to our specialty populations we care for a wide variety of general Medical/Surgical diagnoses such as AKI, GI Bleeds, ETOH/Opioid Withdrawal, AMS/Falls, Sepsis, Sepsis, DKA, Pneumonia, Influenza, COVID, Cellulitis, Failure to Thrive, Suicide Attempt or Ideation, CHF, etc. The general Medical/Surgical patient populations coupled with the specialties we serve provides an excellent learning opportunity for new graduates and nurses seeking to further advance their clinical skills.
