Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Diagnoses for the specialty service lines include: Stroke, Brain Bleeds, Brain Masses, Encephalopathy, Epilepsy, Craniotomies, Laminectomy, Spinal Fusions, and various fractures. In addition to our specialty populations we care for a wide variety of general Medical/Surgical diagnoses such as AKI, GI Bleeds, ETOH/Opioid Withdrawal, AMS/Falls, Sepsis, Sepsis, DKA, Pneumonia, Influenza, COVID, Cellulitis, Failure to Thrive, Suicide Attempt or Ideation, CHF, etc. The general Medical/Surgical patient populations coupled with the specialties we serve provides an excellent learning opportunity for new graduates and nurses seeking to further advance their clinical skills.
