Service Lines Hiring:

Oncology Service Line encompasses five units focused on the care of oncology patients. We specialize in blood disorders, lymphoma patients receiving chemotherapy, stem cell transplants, and hematology/oncology treatment of leukemia on units 2 Pavilion and 2 South, 5 Main, 6 Main, 6 West, and 7 Main. There are opportunities for growth and development through continued education and certification as an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN).

Medicine Service Line at UPMC Shadyside is a significant service supporting our academic teaching program mission. Units 3 East, 3 Pavilion, 4 East, 4 Pavilion/South, and 5 Pavilion with over 120 beds. These units care for patients of all ages with various conditions, offering telemetry training, NIH stroke certification, and med/surg RN roles.

Surgical Service Line includes departments with specialized surgical focus, staffed by nurses who are experts in their fields, providing compassionate care and clinical excellence: 3 West Surgical Orthopedic, 3 Main Surgical Cardiovascular, 4 Main Surgical Oncology, 6/7 Pavilion Med/Surg Urology, and 7 West Neuro Surgical/Oncology Stepdown.

Provide highly competent patient care with empathy and a passion for learning. Establish relationships with physicians, care providers, patients, and families to achieve optimal outcomes. Demonstrate independent judgment, effective communication, and partnership. Set standards for nursing care quality, with authority and accountability. Commit to the community and nursing profession.
