Intermountain Health in Grand Junction, Colorado seeks a Nursing Graduate to work under direct RN supervision in patient care delivery. You will participate in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, while developing independence and licensure readiness.
The role emphasizes collaboration with the RN, patient-family education, and adherence to regulatory standards. Strong communication and computer literacy support daily tasks and documentation.
The Nursing Graduate works under direct line-of-sight supervision of the Registered Nurse in the clinical setting and participates appropriately in the patient care delivery process. The incumbent also orients to the RN assignment, excluding independent nursing care. This position may participate in medication administration under the direction and supervision of the licensed RN.
The Surgical Unit provides care for a diverse population of medical and surgical patients, including those recovering from general, trauma, orthopedic, bariatric, gastrointestinal, urology, ENT, and joint replacement procedures. We also care for patients with complex medical conditions spanning multiple organ systems and diagnoses.
