SpaceX is seeking a New Graduate Engineer, Mechanical in Cape Canaveral to contribute to high‑performance flight hardware and rapid production lines. You will work on iterative manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability, performing hand calculations and FEA to optimize components.

Graduating in 2025–2026, you will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration with vehicle systems while pursuing growth across spaces of increasing responsibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physics.
• 1+ years of mechanical and/or fluids engineering experience via project team, research, internships, and/or professional experience.
• Graduating in Fall 2025, Spring 2026, or Summer 2026.

Responsibilities

• Work on high‑performance flight hardware and rocket production lines.
• Iterate manufacturing processes in a fast‑paced environment.
• Execute design for manufacturability changes to enhance production efficiency.
• Perform hand calculations and FEA to develop, assess, and optimize designs.
• Assist with and lead hands‑on assembly, integration, and testing of new and flight‑proven vehicle assemblies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure hardware integrates with all vehicle systems and supports mission operations.
