Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
Engineer in Training certification or ability to obtain within one year.
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design heating, ventilation, and air conditioning installations and underground steam, gas, and compressed-air utilities.
Design constant volume and variable volume ductwork systems.
Supervise the installation of the above equipment and utilities.
Prepare cost estimates, specifications, and design analyses.
Learn to manage the mechanical engineering of small projects.
Balance workload across multiple projects.
Understand mechanical and plumbing system design and applications, and anticipate required systems.
Perform space planning and coordinate meetings with clients and internal staff.
