Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with DFM/DFA principles and manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of thermal, vibration, and environmental design considerations.
• Curious, eager to learn, and resilient in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Support the design, development, and validation of electromechanical assemblies, learning to balance performance, manufacturability, and cost

• Contribute across the full product lifecycle, from early prototypes through EVT/DVT/PVT builds, vendor handoff, and field deployment

• Work alongside senior engineers to communicate with vendors and suppliers, helping keep parts on schedule and to spec

• Be a proactive self-starter: take initiative, act with urgency, and bring a scrappy, hands-on approach to problem solving in a fast-moving environment

• Take ownership of your work and help keep multiple workstreams moving forward

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (completed or expected by [graduation date]) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

• Hands-on hardware experience through internships, co-ops, university projects, or student teams such as Formula SAE or robotics

• Proficiency in CAD (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or equivalent)

• Familiarity with DFM/DFA principles and manufacturing processes such as sheet metal and injection molding

• Understanding of thermal, vibration, and environmental design considerations from coursework or projects

• Curious, eager to learn, and resilient in a fast-paced environment

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
