Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a New Graduate Engineer, Manufacturing (Starship) to help design, analyze, and qualify hardware for Starship and Starbase production lines. You will create CAD models, develop production procedures, and lead on-site design support to enable efficient high-rate manufacturing.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or physics with 1+ years of related experience and a willingness to relocate to Starbase, TX.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics with graduation in 2027.
1+ years of mechanical, manufacturing, build, or integration experience.
Willingness to relocate to Starbase, TX (Brownsville area).

Responsibilities

Develop production procedures and manage the transition of parts from development to high-rate production.
Coordinate development, qualification, and acceptance testing of systems and tooling.
Create CAD models and prints for flight and tooling components.
Lead the on-site design engineering contact for the build of parts and assemblies.
Work with vehicle analysts to ensure solutions meet design and manufacturing requirements.
Resolve manufacturing discrepancies with the quality team during design, fabrication, and assembly.
