Masonic Village at Elizabethtown is hiring a Graduate Licensed Practical Nurse (GPN) to support geriatric residents with compassionate, timely care on-site. The role offers full- or part-time hours with day or evening shifts, starting pay at $24.40 per hour plus shift premiums.

The GPN provides clinical leadership, medication administration, documentation, and coordination with families and physicians as part of a caring team.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Must have - or have applied for - a temporary LPN practice permit for PA.

Responsibilities

• Acts as Charge Nurse, directing CNAs and RCAs and communicates needs to families and physicians.
• Collects resident data and documents condition and care provided; completes relevant paperwork.
• Performs clinical care such as glucometer and pulse oximetry; administers medications per orders.
• Assists in 24 Hour Change of Condition roster.

Masonic Villages of Pennsylvania - Elizabethtown Campus - is immediately hiring a Graduate Practical Nurse (GPN).

As a Graduate Licensed Practical Nurse (GPN) you will carry out our Mission of Love by assuring and providing care of our geriatric residents in a caring, timely and appropriate manner

Our Graduate Licensed Practical Nurse (GPN) is responsible for the following:

• Serves as Charge Nurse for assigned resident care unit assuring continuous clinical leadership at all times. Directs CNAs and RCAs regarding resident care and notifies families, physicians, and departments of residents' needs.
• Collects data on residents and accurately documents residents' condition. Documents care provided. Completes assigned paperwork, i.e., wound documentation, recap of important orders, MARS, TARS, etc. on each resident on assigned resident care unit.
• Performs clinical testing such as glucometer and pulse oximetry as necessary. Administers ordered medications as approved and treatments including monitoring of IV fluid. Monitors effectiveness of medications and treatments.
• Assists in completion of 24 Hour Change of Condition Roster.
