Job summary

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers and Architects invites motivated students to join as a grant-writing intern in an office setting. You will work closely with seasoned professionals and gain hands-on experience on live client projects.

You’ll develop writing, research, and collaboration skills while balancing internship responsibilities with coursework. This role requires in-person attendance and a strong academic record.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Business Administration, Political Science, or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on grant writing tasks that apply classroom experience to real projects.
• Be an active team member on client projects with our engineers.
• Learn Wilson & Company culture to evaluate the firm for future career moves.
• Assist project managers and partners to deliver clients’ visions for the built environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

• You will perform hands-on work that applies your classroom experience to real-world projects and helps you envision your future career.
• You’ll be an active member of our team, working for our clients on projects with our most experienced engineers.
• You’ll be introduced to Wilson & Company’s culture, which will help you evaluate our firm as a future career choice.
• You will solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate with partners to deliver our clients’ visions for the future of thebuilt environment.

Required Skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, primarily Outlook, Word, and Excel, is required.
• Ability to commute to/from school to the office, and work in an office environment. No remote work is anticipated.
• Highly responsible and dependable. Capacity to manage and maintain a sustainable balance between school, internship, and personal demands.
• Work cooperatively with team members and other Wilson & Company Divisions across the 15 offices.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude.
• Ability to work with a team under a corresponding supervisor.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in English, Business Administration, Political Science, or a related field.
