Job summary

Optiver seeks a Grad Equity Analyst to drive fundamental research-driven trading on our Equity Options team. You will sit on the trading desk, influence trading decisions, and bring research-driven ideas to your own book from day one.

You will join a collaborative environment with Traders, Quant Researchers and Developers, and participate in the Optiver academy program for Equity Analysts. Start date and CFA progression are supported as you grow.

Qualifications

• Current student graduating with a bachelor’s or master’s between December 2026 and June 2027, or already graduated with 1–2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Able to start full-time work August 2027.
• Interest in CFA program and financial markets; strong analytical and quantitative skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify fundamental-driven trade opportunities and work with traders to capture these opportunities, maximizing desk PnL.
• Think probabilistically and perform scenario analysis for upcoming events and headlines to gauge impact on volatility/stock price.
• Collaborate with Traders, Quantitative Researchers and Developers to solve problems and identify new trading opportunities.
