Job summary

GHD is seeking an Environmental Scientist to join our Environmental group in Atlanta. You will work on wetlands delineations, ecological surveys, water quality assessments and site investigations to support environmental risk assessments and remediation.

The role involves field surveys, data management, GIS mapping and preparing work plans and reports. A Bachelor’s or Master’s in a related field and 0–2 years of experience are preferred, with travel to job sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Biology, Ecology or related field of study.
• 0-2 years of experience conducting wetland delineations and ecological field studies.
• Proficiency with managing and evaluating chemical and biological data using spreadsheets or database software.
• Familiarity with geographic information systems (GIS) applications software.

Who are we looking for?

Our Environmental group is looking for an Environmental Scientist to join their team! As a graduate with this group, you will be engaged with projects that involve wetland delineations/assessments & permitting, endangered species surveys, water quality assessments, and ecological & environmental studies. These projects support ecological risk assessments, site characterization and remedial action projects on contaminated sites.
