Job summary

GCS Recruitment in Seattle is launching a Graduate Engineer Trainee program focused on PLC controls, warehouse automation, and robotics. Trainees will undergo an intensive Automation Academy, then be deployed to real-world projects at client sites.

During the program, you will learn to read electrical and mechanical drawings, develop PLC configurations, and work with CODESYS and Git for version control. After training, you’ll join live automation deployments with supportive senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a technical field relevant to automation.
• Recent graduates (0–2 years) eligible.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic programming knowledge from academics or projects.
• Good communication and willingness to learn in industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Create and maintain machine control configuration files.
• Support PLC-based machine control systems.
• Perform basic Structured Text programming modifications.
• Use CODESYS for troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Analyze and resolve automation system issues.
• Participate in commissioning and testing activities.
• Work with robotics, conveyors, sensors and industrial equipment.
• Use Git for version control and code reviews.
• Collaborate with senior controls and automation engineers.
• Support warehouse automation and robotic systems deployed at client locations.

About the Role

Are you passionate about automation, robotics, and industrial technology?

We are looking for enthusiastic Engineering Graduates who want to launch their careers in Industrial Automation, PLC Controls, and Warehouse Robotics.
